A place to hang one's hat

doushkasmum's unit has sold and we're looking at houses. This has taken the house exercise from the theoretical into the very very real. It means that I will soon be a part owner of something very much like this. I've not purchased real estate before and it's a large and life changing notion to wrap my head around. We've also relatively recently decided to start trying to have a child. This is also a stupendously large life decision. I have spent today with a constant voice in the back of my mind. The voice doesn't say anything per sé, it just goes "Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" Both of these events are very good things. I am happy with my life at the moment to a level that would sicken any right thinking person.
It's still melting my brain though.
