I'm no expert, but stopping the smoking will help with the exercise as well, won't it? Make your lungs better able to cope with it etc. Double benefits there :)
Snacks though... they're hard to give up. Particularly if they're right next to you. Swap desks with someone?
Definitely better to address the habits you don't like now than leaving them for later. And cutting down on the yummy things means you'll appreciate them more when you allow yourself to indulge :)
