I went to my first parkour lesson today. There's a whole slew of muscles which I haven't used for a long time complaining to me at the moment and a well abraded patch of skin in the inside of my right upper arm. I'm a bit broken but it's the kind of broken that suggests that it will get easier with time and application. If I can get to the point where that sort of thing is as straightforward as my cycle commute it's going to mean that I've got a lot fitter and stronger. It'll probably mean that I'll have lost a *lot* of weight as well.
